Chapter -2 Helping a stranger

Avyukth Sharma

I suppose I should thank everyone for coming before I begin. So let's get going.I go by the name Avyukth Sharma. My name has a very obvious meaning (Crystal and clear), yet my life is just the opposite of that.

Nothing about me is obvious as a bell. I gave everything my all to find a well-paying job, but in the end, all I received were rejections. But unlike many other individuals who give up after making numerous unsuccessful tries. I never blame God for it. Who knows whether his plans are better than mine, therefore I trust him and what he has in store for me.

Currently I work in a garage until I get my dream job.

I heard my mother calling me for breakfast. My parents are the only family I have.

They are incredibly important to me, and they went above and above to ensure that I received the greatest education possible.

Now is my chance to make them happy and give them the freedom to live life to the fullest. Both put in a lot of effort for me. My mother teaches first grade, while my father was a bank employee.

On his way back home, my father had an accident. His lower body became paralysed in that accident, which caused him to lose his capacity to walk. My mother had a mild heart attack after hearing this news. I was dead scared to lose them still I didn't lose hope.

Since that dreadful day, we've been renting houses. Because we ran out of money and all our relatives turned their back to us and that day I learned the lesson of life.

Now let's return to the present. The garage owner is pretty rigorous about timing, but he is the most modest person you've ever met, so I got ready for my job. I looked at the time, and it was still 8:00.Maa placed a plate with two parathas on the tea table as I sat down in a chair.

I finished my breakfast and touched my parents feet to take my leave.

I was 15 mins away from the garage when I saw people gathering in the middle of the road. It looked like an accident had happened there.

I step down from my bike and cross the road to reach there. Next second I was shocked to see the horrible sight in front of me. A girl drenched in a pool of blood hanging outside from her car. I looked around to see people making videos instead landing a hand for her help.

"Are you guys blind or what? Can't you see she needs help and instead of helping her you guys make her videos. Shame on you" I spat angrily.

I took a few steps forward and tried to take her out of the car. Some broken glass pieces pierced her skin. I heard them muttering something about her. "Isn't she the famous designer Kanvi Ahuja?" "Yes, she's Kanvi Ahuja, that arrogant girl."

I called an ambulance but they said it will take them 45 mins to reach here. I can't take the risk because she has already lost so much blood.

I stopped an auto rickshaw and took her to the hospital. On my way to the hospital I informed police about the accident and this girl who's name I got to know from those people.

We reached the hospital and nurses immediately shifted her onto a stretcher. Receptionist asked me to fill the form and amount to start her operation.

"Kanvi!!!! What happened to her?" I heard someone shouting at nurses. He's wearing a doctor's coat. He  might be around my age. He looked so worried and anxious looking at the girl who was lying on a stretcher.

I walked towards him and said " She met with an accident and I took her here. Do you know her? Are you from her family?"

He gasped in shock and told me " She's my friend Kanvi, thank you so much for bringing her here or don't know what would've happened to her"

I assured him that she'll be fine and leave from there after telling him my name and number he asked for.

This one is a bit emotional but has a special message for us that we shouldn't give up after failures because "The harder you for work for your success, The brighter future you'll get."

Do tell me how far you like the chapter🤗.

Bye bubbles😘
